My Journey

How many of us really know who we are and why we are here on this Earth? I have only begun to figure this out and even now, I am walking through a fog but I am faithful. I am writing this blog to chronicle my prayers, struggles and triumphs in times that I fear that will become more dangerous in the next few years.

I have chosen mountains because they symbolize God in our world. They are beautiful and generous. They demand respect and reverence. Next to them I am small and powerless.

I said earlier that I am walking in a fog. It is also true that God is with me (and everyone who accepts Him) and is my guide. I only need to surrender and ask for His guidance. Sometimes I am forgetful or distracted and during those times I tend to feel lost.

I give my life to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph. Jesus is my rock, my savior and my guiding light. I believe in the Bible as the true Word of God. My faith is in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I pray for Israel with every fiber of my being for the Lord has not forgotten His chosen people. For our leaders, I pray for discernment and strength. For our nation, I pray for mercy for we have lost our way.

I am eager to see where this leg of my journey will take me.
